2024 Nevada question 6

Nevada Question 6 is a plan to change the law in Nevada to protect the right to an abortion.[1]

This new law would allow people to get an abortion until a baby can survive outside the womb, which is usually around 23 or 24 weeks.[2]

It also lets doctors help if the pregnant person’s life or health is in danger. People in Nevada voted on this law change in the election on November 5, 2024.[3]

The law change was approved by 64% of people who could voted in the November 5th election, which means that the right to abortion is protected Nevada.[4] Voters will need to vote again on November 3, 2026.[5]
